About Me: I have been a member of South Plains Day Home Association for 10 years and have served as Referral Chair for 7 years. I attended Texas Tech University, majoring in Child Development.

I opened my daycare when my children were small in an effort to stay home with them and still contribute to the family income. I strive to provde a safe and happy environment for children while their parents are at work, I want them to know they are loved.

I am open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

I work with the children in learning to write their names, learn basic concepts such as the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors. We count, sing songs and play games as well as have holiday parties. I conisder my facility a christian environment, so we say a prayer before each meal. I also try to to emphasize social skills such as getting along with one another and consider the children's interests in our daily activities. I try to use a child-directed approach to our lesson plans; whatever they are interested in and want to pursue is where we go with our activities.

Married to Bob for 29 years, we are parents to Brandi, 28 yrs, and Tricia, 26 yrs. We are proud grandparents to Kaelea, 5 yrs of age.

I am active in my church, Trinity Church for over 20 yrs.
