About Me: I am a long time member of South Plains Day Home Association as well as Texas Professional Home Child Care Association and I hold a BBA degree

I opened my daycare after I had a late-in-life baby. When I couldn't find anyone that I wanted to leave my newborn with I decided to open my own facility. My philosophy is to teach by example and association, to build up the child by praise.

My program consists of teaching preschool to ages 2 1/2 through 5 years using several curriculums plus information obtained through the internet. I am a big believer in teaching letters and numbers and whatever theme for the week. I will use characters obtained through the internet and coloring books that I back with cereal boxes. I then will write the numbers 1-10 on them. I also teach a simple sign language program, emphasizing letters and feelings. Sometimes we take field trips, especially around Halloween, emphasizing Fall Festival.

Married to Dan for 32 years, we are parents to Tanner, 13 yrs old.
