About Me: I am a charter member of South Plains Day Home Association and am proud to be the serving my third term as membership secretary for 2006-07.

In the beginning of my childcare career, I wanted to be home with my own children. I decided I really loved doing childcare and now I would not consider anything different. I try to love each child and treat them as I would want my children treated. I teach them to love one another but love God first of all. I believe that each child is a person no matter how small with the potential to be anything they choose and I am proud to have a part in helping form that life and building character in each one.

I do learning activities appropriate for each age. I expose them to each letter of the alphabet, numbers shapes, colors, etc. We learn Bible verses and we try to emphasize learning mannerws, treating others as we like to be treated etc. I have plenty of free play indoors and out to allow them to be children.

Married to Tom for 40 years, we are parents of Delwin, 37 yrs, Kevin, 31 yrs and Shannon, 30 yrs. We are also proud grandparents to Maridyth and Deon. We are active members of First Church of the Nazarene.
