We are a non-profit organization formed in 1994 and known then as South Plains Day Home Association. Our goal was to serve Lubbock and the surrounding counties providing support, assistance and training as well as promote a positive and professional image of the child care provider. To encourage and promote quality child care on all levels we chose to bridge the gap between home based and center based care and thus became South Plains Child Care Association in 2008.

We offer the community at large, a free referral network of qualified, licensed childcare providers that meet the needs of busy working parents. We welcome the chance to work with families in providing leads for quality childcare, both in home and center based.
