About Me: Co-Founded South Plains Day Home Association in 1995. Served 4 non-consecutive years as President and currently serving as webmaster and publicity chair. Member of SPAEYC and Texas Association for Family Child Care.

Named TPHCCA's Local Association Member of the Year in 1996.

I began my childcare career originally as way to supplement my families income while still enjoying the luxury of being available for our young children. Now that they are nearly grown, I continue because I love what I do!

I feel that early childhood professionals hold one of the most important jobs possible. We shape the future for our country, what could be more important? I strive to make sure that all the children that leave my care for Kindergarten are very ready to face the big world with great social skills and the basic academic skills needed to ensure a successful beginning to their school career. We accomplish this with lots of love and plenty of learning opportunities with the pre-school program three mornings a week. We are currently using Highreach Learning curriculum. Miss Becki with The Music Studio comes by once a week for a pre-school music class as well. And we go on an occasional field trip as our schedule permits.

David and I are celebrating our 29th year together and are parents of three: Mark, 28 yrs, Matthew, 25 years and Jessica, 22 yrs. In my spare time, I enjoy web design, tole painting and crafting.

I hope you enjoy a candid picture taken on one of our picnic days:

"Our son, Keenan, received childcare from Terri Pryer from the time he was 17 months old until he began shcool at the age of 5. Miss Terri is the embodiment of what all early childhood caregivers should be: patient, organized, structured, consistent, affectionate, fair, respectful and intellectually stimulating.

Children in the care of Terri always know what to expect in their daily routine thanks to the structure of Terri's program. The Kid'n'Kaboodle program combines hands on learning activities with opportunities for the children to run and play and develop their gross motor skills. I am eternally thankful for the music lessons Keenan received while at Kid'n'Kaboodle. They established an appreciation of music and knowledge of music fundatmentals that have enabled our son to progress quickly in his guitar lessons.

Important to us, our son has had a wonderful first year in Kindergarten thanks to the wonderful learning environment at Kid'n'Kaboodle. Of course, important to him, he still talks about the wonderful meals he received at Miss Terri's."

"After growing up in a home where my mother ran a home based daycare, I really understand what is important to look for when searching for a facility that provides great opportunities for your child. You definitely find top notch care from Terri. Our son is learning by leaps and bounds, and loves the social atmosphere at Kid'n'Kaboodle. It is such a relief to have a childcare provider that you have as much confidence in as we do in Terri."
